ABOUT ME
Iām Alana. Iām a Bay Area native living in San Francisco. I received my Master of Fine Arts in Photography in 2023 from Academy of Art University after leaving the medical field in 2020, a career change that informs much of my creative work. Specifically, I lean into technical skill to create crisp, clean and sharp images, utilizing bold and bright colors. Minimalist compositions and creative self-expression define my visual style as a photographer, and my commitment to authentic story telling is interwoven into each concept I explore. My goal is to uplift and empower my subjects, making them look and feel both comfortable and powerful. I love the combination of physical and digital space and how it can render unique, multidimensional images.
When Iām not in the studio Iām off the grid with my family in Northern Michigan.
